Our CareIP alarm pendant uses pure Voip (Voice Over Internet Protocol) with a module for GSM backup for redundancy. These are the latest in CareTech produtc releases in wireless technology. We also will shortly be releasing a Bluetooth GPS personal alarm unit, this will be able to send alarms alerting of the persons location via a GSM phone.
